Bloom by Norm Architects

.
"A series of installations throughout out the festival site
prompted visitors to consider form, materiality and alternative perspectives"

Just admired these beautiful images of the recently created spatial concept by
 - a festival of nature and science situated in the heart of one of
Copenhagen’s  largest parks, Søndermarken  - and I keep watching them
over and over... Inspired by the stunning mix of nature and art!

my insta Autumnmood

My home has been filled with fresh autumn greens these last few weeks.
I have been joining a styling project for dutch online warehouse fonq.nl and
I'm looking forward to tell you more about this project in a few weeks!

I love these little changing moods in my livingroom and being creative
by making beautiful still-lifes with some simple details as rosehip branches
a fig tree without potting soil in a vase filled with water and
beautiful decorative artichokes but also some fashion magazines
treasures to make an autumn collage on the wall!

today some of my latest instashots,
there's so much to be inspired,.. hope you'll all have a great autumn!

Botanical greens

Starting this new blogpost with some green inspiration,
This week I looked back to these photos that I took at the amazing
Botanisk Have at Copenhagen when we where enjoying our springbreak in
Denmark a while ago and where I told you about in my last blogpost...
It was a short break where we had a fantastic time while exploring the largest
island of Denmark - Sjealland -  but also a break which ended up in a very sad way.

Maybe you have noticed I have not been blogging since that break and
if you follow me on instagram you might have read that the reason
for this absence was the not expected weakening (she was suffering from cancer) and
the sudden dead of my mother.
These last weeks have been very difficult for me and my family and it's very hard
to believe this happend but I am thankful for the great and special moments
that we had with a mom like her... She was very proud on us,
her children and her grand children,  and she always encouraged me to do the things
that I love the most... I really had and still have a very difficult time
but I am slowly finding my way and trying to move forward.

These last few days I have admired so much beautiful ideas, photos and interiors
that inspired me and leasurely gave me the desire to restart blogging.
It's so nice to find energy in things that we love and like to do most of all,
Being different and creative is one of the most beautiful things on earth...

gardening inside

such an inspiring atmosphere and so much details to admire at these shelves
filled with beautiful greens, accessories and needings to take
care of the growing seeds and grocery plants at this studio
where they celebrate the first signs of Spring!

I really love this indoor cultivation trend, our window sills are filled with jars
with all kinds of seeds and I could admire this inspiring place above,
with all its inspiring original accessories,  all day to get some new ideas.
It really makes me smile to see how we can make it possible to affirm this trend
even if you live in a home without a garden or balcony and to realize you our own
inside garden in small indoor spaces...

great stylingwork by Daniella Witte for Livet Hemma and so inviting
to celebrate spring... click here to see it all!

a green and natural christmas

like I said last week  I slowly started to decorate my home
for christmas and I completed it this week,
just like past few years I kept it very simple and natural,
with a pine tree with some lights in it, some black (house doctor) stars,
fresh conifer branches on a hanger, a lot of candles,
a beautiful white amaryllis and some hyacinth bulbs to complete my green christmas

love the cosy atmosphere and I am really looking forward to enjoy
the holidays together with my family and to be surrounded by this  beautiful simplicity!
today some snapshots...

wish you all a fabulous weekend, enjoy all the happy things

back to normal...

 photos elvs

Hi there! I'm finally back after a great - very long - summerbreak
I hope that you are all having a fantastic summer !

Just like last year we really had a great vacation at the south of France
where we visited the beautiful Provence again and also the Cevennes area
(a mountain range forming part of the Central Massif ) where we enjoyed the pleasant
Mediterranean climatethe great atmosphere and where we visited some wonderful
authentic villages (with their unique markets) but also the famous summer festival of Avignon
and the amazing Bambouseraie located at the foothills of The Cévennes valley,
where we felt being in Asia at that moment!

"The Bambouseraie gardens are created in 1856 by Eugène Mazel and it's a unique place in Europe.
The park of about 15 hectares is home to over 150 varieties of bamboo and a variety of exotic plants and remarkable trees. The route proposed visitors made the journey to the forest of giant bamboo, the Japanese-inspired garden, through the Laotian village and the amazing valley of the Dragon. The Cevennes Bamboo also has a floral garden and a water garden  and even a maze ... " where we had lot's of fun with the kids!

The park is really worth to visit if you are in the area.
The many and varied greens and the bamboo inspired me directly to
restyle my house into an urban jungle when I came back!
 Really loved it...

After a wonderful time in France and some great weeks at the
Dutch south-west coast (Zeeland) with my family it's also great to be home again and
to be back in our normal rhythm. This week our holiday ends, the boys are going back to
school but ofcourse I will try to keep this summermood a little bit longer and enjoy
the sunny days as much as possible ;-)

 have a great Sunday...
