Sunday

After a very busy week Sundays are just perfect for 

quiet mornings with my family, 

lazy afternoons on the couch with a nice cup of tea, music and 

magazines and slowly preparing for Christmas...

where he's breaking with the actual traditions and expectations and still 

creates a warm inviting and festive atmosphere

Vanmorgen werd ik aangenaam verrast door deze geweldige Industriele Kerst Loft, ingericht door - en gebaseerd op het loftapartment van stylist Saša Antić voor de site van Ikea Livet Hemma. Echt fantastisch om te zien hoe Saša hier breekt met de huidige kerst-decoratie tradities en verwachtingen en zonder daarbij de warme, uitnodigende en feestelijke sfeer te verliezen... Zo Gaaf! Echt perfecte en orginele inspiratie voor het versieren van onze huizen!

Slowly getting into the Christmas spirit while collecting some inspiring moods, tones and

creative ideas at the beautiful site of Tine K Home... 

Ik wet niet wat het is dit jaar, maar de inspiratie voor de kerstdecoratie wil nog niet zo komen!

Meestal houd ik het vrij simpel en af en toe een beetje uitbundig... maar ideeen en inspiratie bleven uit.... totdat ik vanavond de site van Tine K Home bezocht.... mooie eenvoud... dat wordt het!

after some hectic and busy weeks
 tomorrow we will drive "home" to my family
 at the dutch southcoast (Zeeland) where we will be
 just in time to do some last minute
shopping and to help with the dinner preparations.

 Most of all I am really looking forward to spend Christmas and the rest of the
happy holidays together with my family and friends...
Great days that will be filled with lot's of fun and old family stories
but also with cosy and lazy moments at home!

a green and natural christmas

like I said last week  I slowly started to decorate my home
for christmas and I completed it this week,  

just like past few years I kept it very simple and natural, 

 with a pine tree with some lights in it, some black (house doctor) stars,
 fresh conifer branches on a hanger, a lot of candles,  

a beautiful white amaryllis and some hyacinth bulbs to complete my green christmas

love the cosy atmosphere and I am really looking forward to enjoy
the holidays together with my family and to be surrounded by this  beautiful simplicity!

this is such a great time of the year...

 just like previous years my festive decoration will be a very
 minimal and natural one, I really like the cosy atmosphere
