natural and warm

just admired this beautiful home filled with original
creative details and still lifes made with collections from nature

the contrast of vintage, old and new design pieces with the
bright walls and floors and the stunning mix of  natural
non-colours with the used materials - many different types of wood -
that created this warm and cosy atmosphere
really caught my eye when I visited the Bo Bedre site yesterday

there are so much stunning details to admire
you can find more about this inspiring Danish house and

workspace inspiration

A perfect serene and inviting atmosphere
created by a mix of Ikea (Metod kitchen) cabinets with a countertop,
two alex drawer units and fitted shelves filled with
storage boxes and organizers, a touch of green and some
 simple warm and monochrome accessories

Starting this new week with the beautiful calm homeoffice of
interior designer/blogger Elisabeth Heier
It's her contribution to this month NIB challenge
where you can find many more inspiring workspace ideas here

have a happy new week!

ps. Norske Interior Blogger (NIB) is a very inspiring interior site that started in 2008 and brings together more
then 3000 interior bloggers. NIB has organized many great interior challenges in the last few years.

stylish + cabinet

Just admired this "Ikea hack" where the team of Livet Hemma
created a new stylish version of the IVAR cabinet.
With the help of sidetable Nornas, that was transformed into legs of the Cabinet, and
some added black painted graphics they gave the cabinet a whole new caracter

just loved this simple double DIY idea
it also made me think of a creative competiton,
organised a few years ago by dutch brand Histor
in which the participants had to create their own personal collectors item
with a wooden cabinet designed by Piet Hein Eek
Many great inspiring ideas came out this competion

So this DIY idea is a great chance to create our own cabinet...
you can find all about it here

stylish and industrial

.
different raw materials, large window, a concrete floor,
wooden framing and a metal roof and so much original and
creative (designed by the owner) details and furniture to admire

while visiting the inspiration gallery of ELLE decoration yesterday
I totally crushed on this stunning home - an engine shed at an old train depot  -
that has been turned in an amazing summerhouse
and where the monochrome tones inside
perfectly fit with the colors of nature outside

table love

"focused on the simplicity of design and the quality of craftsmanship and construction"

sometimes all you need
is a beautiful handcrafted hardwood desk and an office...

this weekend I admired this stunning table designed by Feist forest folk
Feist forest folk is a collaboration of Vicky Turner, Ben Algar and the
Sutton brothers and based in an old tin tabernacle in Devon UK.

Their first design (made from british Ash tree wood),
"the Ashling" is hand painted using a matt black organic stain/lacquer
with a protective natural matt hard wax oil tabletop

just perfect to start this new workweek...
wish you all a happy one!
