vt wonen & designbeurs 2016

 

 If you follow me on instagram you might have seen that

I have been visiting the vtwonen & design fair in Amsterdam this week

and just like every year I really had a great time...

I have seen so much pretty things and it was such fun!

The fair is always a sort of meeting point of bloggers and

 people from instagram with a large interest in homedecoration and

 it's always fantastic to meet each other and discuss the

upgoing interior trends in the Netherlands seen at the fair.

What struck the most is that the plants trend is still going very strong.

At the fair you can find beautiful greens everywhere and

not only in plants but also as one of the trendy colors for wall decoration.

Dark green, grey, ocre and dark blue hues where definitely the most seen colours

at the fair... perfect for a colorful and cosy autumn and winter season!

If you know me a little bit, It will probably not surprise you

 that one of my favourite spots at the fair was the garden/greenhouse area of the 

decorated XXL home of vtwonen magazine where I started my visit. 

Just loved the stunning greenhouse and the surrounded outside area

where I had a nice chat with vtwonen stylist Marianne Luning. 

Today some snapshots of the very colourful inspiring homes of the dutch

magazines at the fair and another favourite spot, the stunning decorated

 cabin bij Combitex. Love their amazing and always creative projects with 

vintage material, used old army accessories and plants. 

Today it's all about vintage, green , blue, ocre, grey and plants

Zoals je wellicht al op mijn instagam zag heb ik afgelopen donderdag de vtwonen &designbeurs bezocht.
Ik bezoek de beurs al jaren samen met Christine (etsy shop house of C) en ook dit jaar hebben we naast het bewonderen van veel mooie ideeen in de gedecoreerde woonhuizen van de tijdschriften ook weer erg genoten van de gezelligheid met andere bloggers en interieur liefhebbers van instagram. Dit jaar was het duidelijk dat de plantentrend in Nedeland nog steeds erg gaande is. Heel veel groen zagen we terugkomen en dan niet alleen in de plantensoorten maar dit jaar ook als trendy kleur voor op de wand samen met veel andere donkere kleuren zoals blauw, oker, en grijs. Verder zagen we veel  mooie vintage accessoires. Vooral in het vt wonen huis zagen we pachtige exemplaren!  Verder heb ik weer erg genoten van het geweldige huisje van Combitex.  Ik ben echt fan van de vindingrijke en creative ideeen en projecten van Jeanette van Combitex. Vandaag een kleine impressie van de beurs. Fijne zondag!

Starting my new week with some details of the amazing VT wonen house.

VT wonen celebrates its 50th anniversary and their booth looked like a 

enormous party tent. 

Like I said I started  my visit at the Woonbeurs this week

by admiring the inspiration houses of the Dutch decoration magazines 

and there were so many details to discover... 

Just loved their entrance (photo1) where we were welcomed by a huge discoball

 surrounded by dark colors combined with white and gold

It was obvious there was something to celebrate!!!

While visiting the whole booth I was really attracted by the beautiful details on the wall

The wall filled with the stunning plates (photo 5, 7) of VT wonen tableware series 

but also the beautiful wall styled with the poloraids (photo 3)  (viaMartine) 

and the stunning posters Blom & Blom (printed by repros) (photo 2)  really caught my eye

Today a little impression of their very inspiring stylingwork!

I started  my visit at the Woonbeurs this week

by admiring the inspiration houses of the Dutch decoration magazines 

and there were so many details to discover...

 At the 101 woonideeën magazine inspiration house

 I was really attracted by the fantastic DIY ideas they were showing

(the most remarable ones since their start at 1957) 

combined with the latest home trends (photo 3, 7, 9 )

the amazing copper radiator really caught my eye (photo 5)

At the Ariadneathome magazine house I really loved the

serene and rustic atmosphere with its fresh greens (photo 1, 2, 4, 6, 8)

and  the fantastic styling ideas (beautiful simplicity)

at the woonbeurs!

yesterday I visited the Amsterdam Woonbeurs 

where you could find me at the bloggerscafe
together with a group of inspiring dutch bloggers
and our lovely host Kirsten Jassies

and it was amazing... I really enjoyed the day!

Before we went to the bloggerscafe
we started  with a sneakpeek at the inspiration
houses of the dutch decoration magazines
and during the day I have visited and admired the whole fair
where I made lot's of photos

I have met so much nice people, seen so much inspiration

but we also joined a little styling event organized 

by the people of the woonbeurs

Together with my blogfriends Christine of House of C and 

Susanne of Suus Loves we borrowed some props 

of some sweet standholders

 (thank you so much Designlemonade, by Zenz, studiodewinkel, and Burbri!)

and really had a great time and lot's of fun by

creating a stilllife..

The Woonbeurs is open until Sunday the 5th of October...

I almost can't wait... 

this week - on Tuesday the 30th -  the biggest event for interior and design 

in the Netherlands  the "Woonbeurs Amsterdam" will open its doors!

really looking forward to discover and to be inspired by

the latest lifestyletrends,   the young designers 
and creative presentations in Design city,
 but also to be surprised by the decoration and styling ideas 
at the inspiration houses of  five leading nl interior magazines 

On wednesday - the 1st of october -  you can find me at the Bloggerscafé (at the designhall)
 where I will be "liveblogging"  in great company of 15 fellow bloggers 
 let's meet there... Are you going?

some details of the very inspiring and huge barn of 

VTwonen at the woonbeurs

where we could admire a blend of genres like industrial 

and natural country living and where we could find

 - besides the living and relaxing spaces - 

a real authentic barbershop

 but also various crafts and creative artist in their studios

like I said in my first "woonbeurs post"

I started my visit  by admiring the decorated homes by the magazines

one of the most inspiring spots at the Woonbeurs

let's start this week with this 

colorful work/living space seen in the Eh&I magazine

home at the woonbeurs

to be honest it's not  the colorful wallpaper 

that attracted me at first sight - this will not surprise you -

but I really loved the amazing styling at this home

 the beautiful combination 

of design- and Ikea furniture supplemented 

by many cacti really made me smile...
