today some of my latest dailylife snapshots...

I was having this changing mood the other day...

cleaned my house and gave my new purchases found in Denmark a place

but I also had some stylingfun by making some insta-stillifes

and trying some things out for upcoming projects

while creating a fresh and cosy atmosphere

with some greens from the garden

love days like this...

# on my shelf - Margreet of OUI OUI studio

one of my favourite hashtags on

instagram is the #onmyshelf one

Love to admire all these beautiful styled shelves
(or whatever used... tables, cabinets, cupboard)

but most of all the added personal touch

gives us the idea getting to know each other a little bit...

and that is what attracts me most

to be inspired by each others creative ideas and

getting to know each other a little bit more I have asked some friend bloggers

to share their "shelfies" accompanied by some words or a short story...

Margreet is a dutch blogger and on her blog OUI OUI studio

she shares her passion for interior, lifestyle and fashion

just love her personal taste: black & white combined with a touch of wood, concrete,

brass, copper and marble and her beautiful still-lifes on instagram are stunning!

Margreet wrote me:

it 's starting to look a lot like Christmas...

Since last year, our daughter Mirte has a small Christmas tree in her room,

which she loves to decorate. Christmas decorations do not have to be expensive;

last weekend she herself picked out these small cute Christmas decorations

at the thrift shop. She found some crazy small things that yet combine well.

We decorated her room with a few gold and silver accents.

The shelves are from IKEA and the small one from dutch warehouse Hema.

I’ve spray painted the shelf holders white.

The white paper star garland and black paper figure also are from Hema.

The MDF tree comes from discountstore Action.

The Cup 'M' is from Design letters, the magazine holders we bought at Ikea.

Pouch House Doctor, silver pouch H&M, boxes Hay Design, white basket Hema,

silver bin Kwantum. Star of wool De Agave, doll Betty Naked Lunge,

black scissors IKEA, white tiger Schleich.

The Slinky toy is from Action and I spray painted it black.

The garland of wooden beads and the Christmas card ‘Hi Santa’ are gifts.

I received them fom instagram friend and blogger @iwdseh (In wijk daar staat een huis)

after taking part of the amazing #instaswapfalledition.
(the instaswap - oganized by Lynda Hovens - is one of the biggest online feel-good events in the Netherlands
that has moved hundreds of people to invest time and consideration in a complete stranger -red- )

The green diy garland is made from our conifer plant in the garden and

the mood board photos are printed from my Pinterest account :

random silver

Clear your walls... and make room for some new shiny stuff

that's what Thomas of the Poster club said on his IG account

and that's exacly what I did this week

today some snapshots with a tribute to the beautiful contrast of black, white and silver

some changes and some new details in my house

I am so happy with my new poster - the Random Silver poster from Playtype -

I was love at first side when I saw it a while ago in the international webshop the Poster club.

The Random Silver poster is printed on chromolux 200 paper and eventhough

I'm not the "glitter and glamour" type this beautiful shiny graphic poster

is such a great addition to create a sparkling atmosphere in my living room!

Finally we are going to redecorate our messy extra room

- love to make my ideas visual with my favourite stuff, photos and different prints -

new ideas for my blog came along

a theme for a new serie was born and soon I will tell you all about it!

#stylingcompetition

today some of my latest instagram shots

As you maybe already know (wrote about it here) there's a instagram challenge

going on with stylists, bloggers, photographers and lot's of creative people

under the hashtag #stylingcompetition.

This whole challenge started at the team of Swedish stylist Lotta Agaton

and her talented assistend Josefin Haag

they challenged each other, while being for a 6 weeks during shoot in the US,

by making a stilllife a day.

Love to be inspired by all these beautiful contributions

and most of all... this is for fun and anyone can join!
