on the artwall - a new concept

.
As you all know I really like photos,
graphic prints and posters on my wall
I have many posters but I always love to discover new ones,
So when I saw this stunning wall, styled by talented
interior stylist Sarah Widmanit really made me smile..

Together with the Wallstuff company, Sarah Widman has developed
a new concept for the picture wall : The artwall concept.

I think posters and prints are so great and they make it easy to change
a room or to give it a new look in just two minutes.
For those who find it hard to create these kind of walls with
various prints and stylish combinations this concept is a
perfect solution to have a beautiful compostion on your wall!

read all about the concept here and see more of this stunning apartment here

random silver

photos elvs

Clear your walls... and make room for some new shiny stuff
that's what Thomas of the Poster club said on his IG account
and that's exacly what I did this week

today some snapshots with a tribute to the beautiful contrast of black, white and silver
some changes and some new details in my house
I am so happy with my new poster - the Random Silver poster from Playtype -

I was love at first side when I saw it a while ago in the international webshop the Poster club.
The Random Silver poster is printed on chromolux 200 paper and eventhough
I'm not the "glitter and glamour" type this beautiful shiny graphic poster
is such a great addition to create a sparkling atmosphere in my living room!

Wish you all a special first Advent ... have a wonderful Sunday!

The Poster Club is all about posters. They are an international webshop based in Copenhagen, Denmark and they really could be the perfect place for you to be inspired or to find some stunning christmas presents because they offer a great selection of handpicked posters from graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and other creatives from around the world ranging for black and white drawings, over photo art to multi-coloured graphic design posters with brands like Playtype, Silke Bonde, Coco Lapine, One Must Dash, My Deer,  Kristina Dam and many more.

Scandinavian items and iconic furniture items from designers like Eames.

My personal favorites are the black and white quote prints

You can find all these retro art and graphic prints at Jan Skácelík’s shop here

# on my shelf - Therese Sennerholt

One of my favourite hashtags on instagram is the #onmyshelf one
just love to admire all these beautiful styled shelves
(or whatever used... tables, cabinets, cupboard)
but most of all the added personal touch
gives us the idea getting to know each other a little bit...
and that is what attracts me most!

because it thought it would be fun to share and to
be inspired by each other's creative ideas
I have asked some of my favourite bloggers/IGers to share their "shelfies"
accompanied by some words or a short story...

just love her stunning graphic prints, quotes and sayings,
postcards and photo art but also her styling and
amazing instagram still lifes (see it here
and  she has just launched her new collection Shapes + words

this week talented and successful designer
 Therese Sennerholt
shares heres...

Therese wrote me:

The main focus in my living room is my black Chesterfield couch and then
the wall of long shelves where I keep coffeetable books,
personal details, boxes from items i have bought,
and a mix of things that mean a lot to me.
I have even saved  wrapping paper from a gift with personal words on it,
just because I like it.
So the shelves are storage but also decoration to the room.

I like things in order so I try to keep the items in straight piles,
but somehow there always end up tear sheets from fashion magazines
and other stuff that makes the perfect imperfect.

I just launched a new collection of prints and postcards,
and on the wall you see one of the postcards,
I am all into patterns and shapes right now,
and the new collection is inspired by fashion and clean lines.

I also love shoes, its my IT-thing, i don't always wear the shoes i buy,
sometimes i put them on my shelf as a piece of decoration.
The black crocodile boots are from Lykke Li's co-lab with &other Stories
they are todays favourites.

I always listen to music as well,
so my computer is always attached to the speaker from Jawbone,
right now I am listening to Banks, just love her sound.
It gives me peace of mind, and gives me energy to be creative.
