stylinglove

I know I have said it before but I can
can spend hours visiting Scandanavian brokerage & interior sites
and have been inspired a lot of times by the work
of their stylists and photographers

Maybe you have already seen it but yesterday
I admired these three completely different interiors
decorated by 3 stylists in one apartement
at the Swedish FastighetsbyrĂĄn brokerage site

just loved the beautiful and cosy greyish interior with the natural details styled
by Hans Blomqvist and admired the colourful eclectic interior of Mickael Beckman
but the tasteful and graphic interior styled by Tina Hellberg
-  filled with stylish details in black, white, grey and brown -
really caught my eye!

which one is your favorite? see it all here

new handles

Since longer time I have wanted to restyle our VTwonen cupboard
the original plastic handles didn't fit anymore...
they bored us and I was looking for something new and special
when I met Tessa,  one of the owners of  Nu interieur|ontwerp,
at a bloggersmeeting a while ago.
She told me all about the different handles and grips
they have designed and produced and
I must say they really caught my eye from the moment that I saw them

The standard collection handles and grips comes in four colours:
white, black, cognac and grey and are available in three sizes: S, M and L
Besides the standard colours they also provide limited edition handles

I have choosen the white leather handles because I wanted to keep
the minimalistic look of the cupboard and
I just love their beautiful and simple form they are a real accession  - they inspired me for a little changingmood  -  and once again
I found out that little details really make the difference!

# on my shelf - Robine of the actproductionblog

One of my favourite hashtags on instagram is the #onmyshelf one
just love to admire all these beautiful styled shelves
(or whatever used... tables, cabinets, cupboard)
but most of all the added personal touch
gives us the idea getting to know each other a little bit...
and that is what attracts me most!

because it thought it would be fun to share and to
be inspired by each other's creative ideas
a little while ago I asked :Would you like to share your #shelf??
Robine has send me a very spontaneous mail and joined in!

Robine is a dutch lifestyle blogger and on her blog "the act productions lookbook"
she shares her love and obsession for good visuals, styling tips
and secret adresses and you will notice her passion for conscious living,
in every aspect of my life; interior design, food, fashion, health.

this week she shares her shelfie and the story behing...

Robine wrote me:

Above my bed there is a white 'blind' shelf from IKEA.
as it looks right now - seen from my bed - it looks perfectly peaceful and simple,
but there's always the opportunity to go a bit crazy with styling
and change it as I wish;)

For me an interior should not only contain 'it-design' pieces
with just some symmetric placed flowerpots! So dull!
I rather prefer to combine 'it-design' pieces with for example
a closet that used to belong to my grandmother,
Just stall little baby shoes of your child on a shelf,
frame your pictures, put up a poster with a quote in which
you recognize yourself (that is 'totally you') .
It shows who lives in that house and makes it more personal!

On my shelf you can find our wedding invitation card in a photoframe,
it's designed by me and  inspired by the work of Fabien Baron .

Next to our wedding invitation stands a framed image that I really like.
It's from the first edition of the Dutch Harper's Bazaar magazine.
Even though I am a blogger and I am in love with Instagram,
I just can't imagine that printed editions will ever disappear!
I often buy  (expensive) magazines and can't throw them away,
so I frequently frame beautiful editorials and advertorials
and put them on my shelf.

You can always find scented candles in my bedroom,
at the moment I have the Patchouli candle from Diptique
and a candle from H&M.
Lately I'm giving some (not-so-subtle) hints to my husband to buy me
the XL RO scented  candle from Skandinavisk.
Would love to have that one because it smells utterly gorgeous
and because there is this funny connection with my name
my name is RObine, (everybody calls me 'Ro').
Other things "on my side of the shelf" ;)
are jewelry boxes and I have my coral earrings on display as well!
