handmade by Lappalainen

I admit... This weekend I spent hours looking at it...
intrigued by the ever-changing light and the nice quiet movements of this
beautiful handmade accessory based on the work of Pol Bury and Alexander Calder.

I guess like many of you,  you can find me regularly on the the site of Etsy...
In my opinion, the world of Etsy is really a great place to find inspiration and
I can spend hours to discover the most beautiful handmade creations and decoration ideas.

When I was asked a little while ago about my favourite shops and about my
 wishes for Christmas,  I immediately thought about my all time favourite;
The unique handmade mobile of the Lappalainen!
Lappalainen is the etsy shop of Rivka Baake from Germany and you can't imagine
the amount of times I've admired the mobile and questioned myself which one
to choose... the brass, copper or the black variant of the mobile.
When I finally made the decision, I thought it was a great opportunity
to order an early Christmas gift  for myself.  A unique, beautiful and timeless eye catcher
that makes us spend long times on the couch to watch the spectacle of the mobile...

At Etsy, they love to support extraordinary and creative people by helping them
be their own bosses and by letting them use Etsy's craft and design skills.
A little while ago I was asked to help spreading the word about Etsy and
the fact how proud they are of all the sellers... As a regular visitor and buyer I decided to
support the Etsy ceatives and write posts about our favourite shops and products...
Do you have a favourite Etsy shop or product?
Please help me discovering them and let me know!

dacht ik meteen aan mijn all time favoriet:

speciaal uitgekozen items verkopen.
Laat het me weten zodat we samen

ceramic love - trunk vase and stump mug

.
beautiful unique pieces,
pure and raw,
made by hand in a very small scale...

Oh how I fell in love with these beautiful ceramics designed
by Jinjin a Japanese ceramic artist when I visited the inspiring blog of
Sonja Maria Rettensteiner a while ago and read her story about
her discovery of this talented street artist in Paris.

It's so great when talented people work together and
create an amazing and inspiring story...
Definately on my wishlist: Trunk vase and stump mug
read all about the story here and be inspired!
